I visited this December 24th, the construction site of the Yaoundé Fan Zone, located at the esplanade of the city hall of the capital city.
This place is a friendly space reserved for fans and football fans, built on each competition site, according to a CAF prescribed charge sheet. The fan zone of Yaoundé is a model fan zone, which during the CHAN already, has welcomed more than 5000 visitors a day. It will be ready in a week, and will open its doors to the
public on the eve of the competition, which starts next January 09th.
